New birds I've had recently and other's I'm bringing home very soon!

I've had quite a few new additions to the flock recently, here they all are!

Excuse my nails in most of them, they're always getting chipped and battered

And I'm getting a couple of new birds real soon too!

This is a pair of baby Eurasian kestrels, the mom was a wild bird who couldn't be rehabilitated so the guy said he'd give me both babies (who are hand reared) for a small donation. Obviously I can't say no to things like that when I've got a spare aviary!

I'll be getting them within the next few weeks

And this is my new conure! This gorgeous bub is a turquoise yellow sided, from the same person I got Dexter from, SO it's actually my lovely Dexter's younger brother or sister!!!

Thank you! I'm super excited. I'm also glad to be helping out some rescue birdies. Dexter and the younger sibling are actually the only birds I have (oh and Harvey but I bred him my self) that I've bought as hand raised babies from a breeder!

I know what you mean, you want to help all you can, but it sure is nice when they love you back and enjoy spending time with you

Oh definitely! I haven't heard yet when I'm getting the conure because the couple haven't sorted out their travel costs yet, but I can wait as long as forever at the moment The guy with the kestrels desperately wanted to hear from me as to whether or not I was going to take them, so I replied the next day as fast as possible like I told him I would but I haven't heard anything since then

The guy said he'd get in touch with me at about 6pm tonight, so hopefully we're arranging the pick up times then

We still havent heard anything from him yet though :/

Well he is waiting for DEFRA to get in touch but by then it may be harder for me to have them if we have moved by then then that's even better

Thank you yeah I only have twelve but it feels like a lot some times. It's not many though. I would love a big aviary full of plants and zebra finches!

Thank you! STILL haven't had any news on the kestrels though so I'm pretty much giving up on them. However I have a lot of new lovely babies
