Coco and Iris

We knew Iris was going to go soon, but not sure when. I said in Sqwibble's thread that I was expecting it. She had vastly improved though but with this egg issue she just went. I went outside and she was gone. Poor girl. Patrick was very upset

Just to add to this we've had some absolutely horrific flooding weather here in the UK. Everywhere is flooded again and one day it's SO hot and the next day it's freezing and soaking. The water had gotten into the aviary (not flooded) but it had soaked our female quail Coco. Bubba made sense of things and hid inside his little house, but she stayed out and no matter how many times we put her back in she kept coming back out again. She was dead. I knew this weather would claim at least one of us

We aren't having much luck AT ALL right now and well, this year really. It's so sad, I'm so fed up of all of this. Stupid weather, stupid disease and stupid random issues we're having! It's no good at all. I take pride in how I care for my birds, this just isn't going well for me
